King Solomon leaves SA

Our beautiful Golden carrier stud Grand Champian Catanova King Solomon oy Cherie-Finesse left South Africa today in an exchange program to help out the Traditional Longhair Golden gene pool in the USA at Christypaw Persians in St Louis, northeast Missouri.

It was difficult to say goodbye, but on the other side of the scale is the prospect of us getting a Golden or Golden carrier female back from Christypaw Persians.

Strategic thinking made it sensible to do an exchange.

   * Christypaws Persians were in dire need of a Golden or Golden carrier stud.
   * Cape Town breeders are in dire need of Golden or Golden carrier females.

We have three of King Solomn's male offspring as studs in Cape Town:
   * a Golden son, Kietsiekat Saint Paulia, owned by Mrs Eslabe Buys,
   * a Silver son, Misty's Samson, who carries Golden,
owned by Judith van Rooyen and
   * a Golden grandson, Kietsiekat Cattleya, still a kitten, bred by MrsElsabe Buys
     and owned by Vonè Schreuder.
